Amerigo White Wine

Amerigo Vino Bianco d'Italia represents the taste of Italy’s most important wine regions. Produced from a blend of Italian grapes, this wine is light and fresh, with bright acidity and full body, tropical fruit and citrus. It is excellent as an aperitif accompanied by appetizers. Recommended with raw fish, seafood, fish, fresh cheeses, white meat.

Bellavini Winery is a Californian winery, founded by Pierluigi Giachi of Tenuta Torciano together with his family and American partners. Amerigo is the realization of their desire to produce important wines in California. The Amerigo rosso was transported from Tenuta Torciano in tanks, and bottled at the Bellavini winery in Ukiah, California. This is an effort to be more environmentally sustainable. By transporting the wine in bulk, and to not ship glass, boxes or corks, the carbon emission rate is much reduced. The larger volume in the tanks also means that the quality of the wine remains intact, and aromas and flavors are just as fresh as when the day it left Tuscany.
